Greetings everyone,
I have two AutoCAD licenses running from license server and I would like to check out one license to work at home.
I have read some instructions and not quite sure about the procedures.
I think I need to use LMTOOLs on server to check out but if anyone can reply steps, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you,
Hi,
Have you tried to simply borrow a license yet? Please try the following procedure... http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2011/11/general-licensing-how-to-borrow-a-license-from-th...
What was the outcome?
Regards,
Duncan
you can also type borrow in the command line

In order to borrow the license, the computer in question must be connected to the license server. For a home computer, this would require VPN or other connectivity so it could see the license server. As far as I know, you can't "blind borrow" a network license for transfer to a non-connected computer.
