How to Activate a product already activated

Okay, I know this sounds weird but the problem evidently is that the serial number was updated, maybe because we changed from basic Autocad to Autocad Mechanical 2011. Anyway, my product is activated and I have been using it for about a year now. The problem cropped up when I tried to use the License Transport Utility. It said that my serial number was not valid.

I then logged in to my account here and it too said that the serial number was not valid. So the response I got back from Customer Support was to go to <help><about> and select the 'Activate' button in the bottom right hand corner. Well I do not have such an animal on mine. So how do I go about trying to reactivate so I can get a request code?

I checked on your  account and the current product that you have is Autodesk Product Design Suite Standard 2013. The serial number you have to use for License Transfer Utility must be on "Registered" status. The error you have received below happens when the status is usually "upgraded". Send me your serial number through private message(envelope next to your account name at the top of this page) so I may check further.
