Home licence installation

Hi

I need help with setting up my new home licence. My previous installation has expired and now I have requested a new serial number which I have received. How do I bypass the activation screen so I can input the new serial number?

Hi luis,

Just making sure I understand the situation: you have a product installed, the license has expired, you have requested and received a new serial number and now you would like to "convert" the installed expired license into the new license. Is that correct?

If so, you can simply open the program, go to Help (Arrow close to the "?" icon) -> About [Product Name] -> Product Information. Then click on "Update" close to the current serial number and enter the new serial number.

This is correct, what you describe is my problem, however your solution does
not work.

I do not have access to the Autocad UI, as I can't get past the Activation
window that pops up, and the only options available to me are the following:

1. Connect and activate (I have tried this but it keeps failing saying
that the subscription has expired).

2. I have an activation code from Autodesk (I don't have an activation
for the installed serial number)

Failing these two options the software just cancels and does not proceed
further.

Kind Regards
