Here's a stupid question about Auth codes...

Received the authorization code for CAD Overlay....but forgot where to put
it???

I set up ACAD and Land Desktop so long ago on our server.....

ACAD 2002 on NT server....

the auth code looks something like this:

SERVER xxxxxxxxxxx
USE_SERVER
VENDOR adskflex port=xxxx
INCREMENT 40700CADOV_2002_0F adskflex 1.000 permanent 1 \
VENDOR_STRING=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Stop the lmtools and locate your license file. Make a back up copy of your
license file. Then add the last three lines of the CAD Overlay
Authorization to your current license file.

Example:
> SERVER xxxxxxxxxxx
> USE_SERVER
> VENDOR adskflex port=xxxx
> INCREMENT 41100ACD_2002_0F adskflex 1.000 permanent 1 \
> VENDOR_STRING=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
> ISSUED=xxxxxxxxxxxxx
> INCREMENT 40700CADOV_2002_0F adskflex 1.000 permanent 1 \
> VENDOR_STRING=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
> ISSUED=xxxxxxxxxxxx

Start the lmtools and reread the license file.

OK...I found lmtools in the FLexLM driectory on our server......BUT..

when I go to the stop/reread tab, and look on the left under "remote server
list"..there is nothing there....and in the grey box is a message that says
"license file not specified"

so I am not sure what to do....does this mean It cannot find my license
file? Where would it be?
