Help with Vault Professional 2014

Through the AutoDesk Developer Network we have downloaded Inventor Professional 2014 and Vault Professional 2014. Inventor was installed as a stand alone application and Vault as a Single Server application. We now want to use Inventor with Vault. I have the following issue;

In setting up the Network License Manager it asks for the path for the license file. How do I obtain this file? I looked at How to obtain a Network License File . At the registeronce site I entered our (standard) ADN serial number for both the Inventor and Vault and it came back with an Invalid Serial Number error (Error 2). Do I need to reinstall Inventor as network application? If so can I get a network license through ADN?

To setup a licens server, you need to review the folllowing post:

http://upandready.typepad.com/up_and_ready/2011/11/quick-start-setting-up-a-license-server.html

Some ADN serials are standalone and some are network.  You can check it via your account.  You may need to log a case to get a network license.
