Grace Period

When using the PLU to transfer the license the grace period does not work. Once exported we can not access the product on the machine that it has been exported from.

This feature cannot be used after every export operation. This is an "emergency" capability, and so we restrict it so that it cannot be used everyday. Otherwise, it would be used instead of getting another license.

The restriction time period varies by product, but generally you can use this feature no more than once a week.

Please note when the 24-hour grace period begins. It's not when the export happens; it's the first time *after* export that the product is launched.

So for maximum flexibility, don't launch the product right away after export. The grace period will be waiting to be used, indefinitely, until the next launch. Then, the 24-hour countdown begins.

Let me know if you have further questions.
