Flexible license

One of the benefits of getting a subscription is "You'll have added flexibility to allow your employee's to use their Autodesk software in the office or AT HOME."

How does this work? I've searched the subscription center to find details but cant find any. is it as simple as taking the software to your home computer and installing using the provided serial numbers or do you need to contact autodesk support i really have no idea. Thanx for looking.

In a nutshell, yes. It's basically part of your End User License Agreement. As a Subscription customer you are allowed an additional activation for a laptop or home computer, so long as they are used by the same person and not at the same time. There is nothing more to do but install and activate. If you have any problems, contact Autodesk for an activation code.
If your seats are network versions, it doesn't matter as much because you can borrow a license offsite or use a VPN to access your NLM. However, you can get a special stand-alone activation for a network seat for the purposes of this argument. Your reseller can help you with this, should it be be necessary.
Good Luck!

I think if it 's a home computer, that on the
subscription center you will have a new demand to do and have a new serial
number.

Actually the Subscription Home Use License (HULA) is slightly different than the End User License (EULA).

The HULA offers a bit more flexiblity to the Subscription customer. I believe you can find the details of the Subscription Home Use License in the Terms and Conditions area of Subscription Center but the basic rules are as follows:

Home Use means that you, as the licensee of the software program, may install a second copy of the software program at a second location away from your office location under the following conditions:

- Such second location may include installation on a computer located at the home of your employees or on your employees’ personal computers. This is different from the EULA in that the EULA states the owner of the second computer must also be the owner of the software license.

- The use of the software program when installed at such second location shall be to produce work related to your internal business needs or for your employees personal education or training needs. That it can be used for personal education and training is another difference.

- This Home Use benefit only applies for as long as your software program is under Subscription and only to the number of licenses of the software program that are under Subscription. The term for a Subscription Home Use License is 13 months.

The process differs depending on whether your primary license (the one you own and use at work) is a Stand-Alone or Network version:

Stand-Alone Primary License:

If the Primary License is a standalone license, you can use the original media to install and activate a second copy. You'll use the same serial number and you'll be using a second activation of that number for the home machine. No formal request for a Home Use License is required however you should review the terms and conditions for Home Use located on the Subscription Center.

Network Primary License:

If the Primary License is a network license, you must complete a Home Use License Application and submit it to Autodesk. Autodesk will review the application and issue a companion serial number for a standalone Home Use License based on the corresponding network license. Home Use License Applications are available on the Subscription Center.

Once the Home Use License is installed you must obtain an authorization code from Autodesk. Companion standalone Home Use Licenses will have a different serial number than the Primary License on which they are based. These companion licenses automatically expire 13 months after activation and you'd have to submit another application to extend the license usage for another term.
