FlexLM8 and Windows 2003 Server

Hello,

is it possible to install licence manager Flexlm8 for networked version of
AutoCAD 2004 on a Windows 2003 server?
AutoCAD 2004 is installed on XP Pro client, only licence manager should be
installed on server.
Is it compatible? Is it certified for this OS Server?

Thanks

Olivier

Sorry Olivier,

Autodesk has not tested FLEXlm on W 2003 Server. So, no it is not certified
on this OS.

I received an email from Macrovision (Globetrotter) stating that FlexLM 9.2
is compatible with Windows 2003 server, which is the latest version of
FlexLM that I am currently using with AutoCAD 2004 licenses.

AutoCAD 2004 and the ADSKFLEX vendor daemon were developed and released on
FLEXlm 8.3 technology. So, you can use a newer version of LMGRD and
associated tools but ADSKFLEX is still at FLEXlm 8.3 and thus untested and
unsupported.
