Ok, Could I do this with a windows emulator ?
Im a bit rusty so I would appreciate info on this?
I must be able to use one of the windows emulators to carry out this process?
Running under Windows emulation is not recommended or tested by Autodesk.

If your OS is not listed there, then i sould stay on Windows.
If it is there, i think the network licecnse will run on the machine (re-author code as you got a new IP adress and host name), but i suppose anything special (Lic borrowing, redundant servers, Report tools, ) will be an adventure to test and set up !
Maybe a windows machine that remains on all the time would be a better option.
I know of several companies with Linux servers that would appreciate some form of solution.
