FlexLM and cascading licenses

Here's a scenario I need to know how to approach...

- Location A with a license server running 50 Inventor Pro licenses
- Location B with a license server running 100 Inventor licenses

Now we want...
- Location B to be able to use max 25 Inventor Pro licenses from Location A's license server
- Users in Location B to be able to choose between Pro or normal Inventor.
- If no licenses of Pro are available at Location A, the user can still run Inventor from Location B licenses.

How would we do this?

It sounds like you may want to look into the the MAX, GROUP and RESERVATION
functionality.
Likely you need to find out how to divide your licenses into groups and
specify rules on them to ensure they work as expected.

A good reference is the flexnet enduser documentation.

It all depends. If the pro-version also contain the standard then everything
should be fine... otherwise not.
Likely this is covered in the product manual.
