FlexLM Option File

Watcha,

Is it possible to use the adskflex.opt file to reserve Autocad 2002 licences for groups of hosts rather than users? This used to be possibly with the old AdLM but I can only find documentation for setting it up for user groups in FlexLM.

TIA,
Simon.

The GLOBEtrotter End User Guide does refer to HOSTS
(see chapter 6 Options File Syntax).

For example you can exclude a particular host from
using AutoCAD 2002 as follows:-

EXCLUDE 41100ACD_2002_0F HOST machine1

You can also specify a group of hosts using
HOST_GROUP

e.g.

HOST_GROUP Design machine1 machine2
machine3

EXCLUDE 41100ACD_2002_0F HOST_GROUP
Design

I just tested this with AutoCAD and experienced no
problems.
