Hi,
I'm an end user, not a network guru so please excuse my ignorance. We currently have a floating license install of AutoCAD which is operating under Windows XP and is supported by a FlexLM license manager running on a windows based server. We also have a large number of other CAD tools that run on a Linux system and a separate FlexLM license manage to support those CAD tools (non AutoDesk CAD). The windows based server that holds our AutoCAD license manager is having issues and will be going away. Instead of bringing up a new Windows based server and license manger to support AutoCAD (which is the only windows based sw w/ floating licence that we have) , my sys. admin wants to use the existing Linux based licence manager to support AutoCAD. He looked online and AutoDesk website suggests that there is an RHE 64 bit version available, but we apparently need 32-bit. Does anybond know if there is a 32-bit Linux license daemon available to support AutoCAD? In info would be appreciated. Thanks.
