Flex LM A suitable JVM could not be found

I am currently installing the license manager for the AutoCAD 2007 & Revit 9. The license manager is upgraded to v. 10.8 & currently running Autodesk2004 without a problem. The server is running Windows SBS 2003.
The license manager is not working for these new programs the Sam Lite program will not load. Any assistance you might be able to offer would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When running the latest version of Samreport.exe from the server desktop produces this error: A suitable JVM could not be found. Please run the program again using the option -is:javahome
& checking the server status of the license manager produces this result:

License server status: 27001@server01
License file(s) on server01: C:\Nlm2007\License\REVITS9server01.lic:

server01: license server UP (MASTER) v10.8

Vendor daemon status (on server01):

adskflex: The desired vendor daemon is down.
Check the lmgrd log file, or try lmreread.

I think you should go to www.sun.com and download an appropriate version of
J2SE runtime.
You probably should not download the latest version but perhaps a bit older
version.
This depends on the version of Samreport you want to run.

This is an independent problem.
I think for this one you should update to a newer lmgrd and a newer lmutil.
Then you should try to restart the server. It seems like it's telling you
two different stories but the versions of lmutil and lmgrd which you used
are not nessecarily the same which is what could cause the problems.

You could consider looking into License Statistics which is more easy to use
and can do more then Samreport Lite. Most users report that it only takes 10
minutes to setup and it has several features which makes it more interesting
like emailing you upon various actions or letting you interact with the
software to build your own custom scripts in addition to the graphing and
reporting.
See signature.

Henrik Goldman
