John,

Where are you running AdLM? Do you have more than one network adapter in
the system running AdLM?

Check your adlm.log file, browse the file looking for the user that got the
error at the time the error occured. An error message in the log file may
explain the disconnect.

Hopefully this information will help:

The file server has one nic, but its an Adaptec ANA 6944ALAN Adapter. It has four ports. Three are in use.
1> IPX frame type 802.2
2> IPX frame type 802.3
3> IP frame type Ethernet_II

John,

I do not think this configuration is going to work. If I understand you
correctly, you have three LAN connections on the AdLM server. AdLM is only
supported on systems with a single LAN connection.

Alternatives include using another server with only one connection or
running your network with TCP/IP and IPX Protocols and running the TCP/IP
version of AdLM on a Windows system which has a single network interface.
