I am trying to place the revit family file locations on an external hard drive so I can be sure that I am using the same families when I am switching from my personal computer to school computers. I attempted to download them to the external hard drive, however Revit was still searching for family files on my computer's local hard drive. I can find where to set the folder for families, but I cannot find the correct folder on my external drive to set it to. Any help on putting the files on the drive and linking the folder to them?
