I have tried numerous times to install Revit 2012 without success. The installation grinds to a halt after completing 3 of 4 programs and then fails to complete the last one. I have left it alone for several hours and all it does is eat up my CPUs. It does not give me an error message but just fails to complete. I have turned my UAC off and turned off all back ground programs, so that is not an issue. I am running Windows 7 with 4GB of memory. Any help with this problem will be welcome.

I would re-download the software.
