Look, I've been searching EVERYWHERE for a real and actual answer. I setup a Network deployment, and YES, I selected Install Express Tools. I did a generic setup with default values. It installs perfectly fine and Express Tools respond normally. HOWEVER: as soon as I modified the deployment to look for the EXACT same menu file located in a shared directory instead of the default one, Every tool is not recognized. Even with the shared directory in the support path(s). Is there an arx file or something I can throw in the startup suite to enable the express tools?
And YES, I tried "EXPRESSTOOLS", "MENULOAD", "DEMANDLOAD"=3, etc.... "Use custom folders" is also picked.
This is Acad2012, running on 32bit Win 7
when I try and load an individual command such as "MOVEBAK", I get this in the command line:
"Missing 'acetutil.fas, MOVEBAK not loaded"
Hi, have you verified that AutoCAD is loading the correct acetmain.cuix and not the one in the users support folder, "C:\Users\<user login>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2012 - English\R18.2\enu\Support?" Another thought, does the acetmain.mnl exist in the new location?
Cheers!
Volker
