Error on Installing 3D Studio Max Trail

Hi there,

 

I was wondering if you could help me.  In the past, I have been trying to install a 30 day trail version of 3D Studio Max on my laptop.  But during the first stages of the installation, a message keeps coming up saying; "please close the following programs: 'monitor.exe'".

Do you know how I can resolve this issue?

Please let me know as soon as possible.

Start > Run

 

Taskkill /f /im monitor.exe

 

That should work.  If not, kill it from the Task Manager > Processes tab.
