Previously had AutoCAD 2010 installed on my computer as a education license. That version expired, and I downloaded the AutoCAD 2011. When the program is prompted to install in the formal AutoCAD window, I get an error that reads, "You cannot install this product on the current operating system". I have unistalled all Autodesk products, and have re-attempted the same process multiple times with same results.
Suggestions please?
Please make sure you are installing 32 bit Autocad 2011 on 32 bit operating system;
like wise 64 bit on 64 bit OS.
I am having the same issue after just downloading the trial version. I read that autoCAD2011 will automatically recognize if I am running on a 32 or 64 bit system. Now I check and the 32 bit was downloaded and I am running a 64 bit system. Now what?
that only happens if your using the media you get from autodesk if your downloading it you need to download the correct version 32 bit or 64 bit
