am running Autodesk Map 6 on a NT server and it has been running OK until a
week ago. The license server doesn't seem to be running. When trying to run
the server status inquiry a message displays "cannot connect to license server
The server (lmgrd) has not been started yet, or the wrong prot@host or license
file port or hostname has changed in the license file. Winssock connection
refused". Nothing has changed with the license file or the server name/port.
Tried to re-read the license file and restart the license sever using lmtools,
both processes failed. The only change in the environment recently has been
that Norton antivirus 8.01 was installed (was using
7.6).
