Navisworks Manage 2012
Running Windows 7, x64 on T5750 processor (core 2 duo), but x64 download will not work. downloaded 32 bit and installs entire program then gives this error:
ERROR - Some installation files are corrupt. Please download a fresh copy and retry the installation
CRC failed in x86\NAVMAN\Autodesk\Navisworks Manage 2012\api\COM\bin\activex_redistributable.msm
Unexpected end of archive.
this is at 99.9999% install completion.
I haven't had any luck with any program downloads lately. I've installed Revit x64 perfectly in the past. Any ideas?

The x86 program folder indicates this is the 32 bit version?
Can you confirm which version you are downloading?
Can you try temporarily disabling all anti virus software and firewalls incase something is prematurely ending the download?
Can you try this on another machine?

Same problem here. Looking for fix. Option to download is 32/64, no separate download for 64. Running Windows 7 64-bit.

Ive had the same problem trying to download autodesk inventor professional 2012, 64 bit. It gets the the very last stage of the download and stops with an error.
Ive tried disabling the anti virus software aswell and that didnt make a difference.
I could also download the 2013 version with no problems but not the 2012 one which is required..
Any ideas?

Hi Sophocla:
Could you please verify where you are downloading the product from? Prior to download, please check your system for and disable any of the following:
# Firewall - These are designed to stop downloads from non-approved sites.
# Download Monitors - Programs such as GoZilla! and NetZip are not compatible with our server and will sometimes block or stop downloads.
# Screen Savers - In some instances, screen savers can interfere with the download process. If you have a screen saver that is starting while you are downloading, please disable it temporarily until your download is complete.
Best Regards,

Hi,
I had the same problem with 3ds max 2012. I work with a win7 x32 bit and when I launch the installation, almost at the end, I get this message :
CRC failed in x86\max\max1.cab
Unexpected end of archive
I really don't understand why or what there is this type of message so I invoke the wonderfull powers of "autodesk softwares users".
THANKS A LOT ! MERCI BEAUCOUP !
Corentin.

Welcome to the community Corentin.
CRC errors may be avoided by using a different web browser, an alternate download method (maybe try the Download Now option if available), or by temporarily disabling all anti virus software and firewalls as they may be prematurely ending the download.
Please let us know if the problem persists.
