Downloading and using the Trial Version of Revit Lt

In trying to use the trial version prior to purchase, the download created an error stating that it did not have authorization to the server.

Once I closed this error window, the program seemed to complete the download.  I am attempting to confirm that with this Revit Lt program, I can import an architect's DWG file, and use my manufacturer's Revit designed cabinet blocks to design the cabinetry within the space and using the same blocks that contain pricing, provide my customer an estimate.  This isn't rocket science.

PROBLEMS:

• The program will not allow me to "view" my drives (C drive) to import any files.
• There does not appear to be ANY  phone support to either drive the sale to purchase nor any technical support.  Further, when I attempted another avenue of telephone inquiries, I was hooked into the Phillipines...not what I EVER want to experience if I can help it.

Any solutions to how I can receive help to get this trial version up and running to answer these simple questions?

Curious as to exactly how I should re-install using the full version.



. Should I first uninstall the currently installed trial version?

. Should I ignore the fact that I have one version already loaded
and attempt to download the full use trial version (and will the downloader
allow this)?

Thank you for your assistance. I have three major projects due by the end
of this weekend and I need to understand if this program will do the job for
us moving forward, purchase the product and complete these projects for the
customer.

no you don't need to uninstall the online version

you should just  be able to install the destop version
