Download version Inv 2011 problem

I have my delivery preference set to "box" because I am leery of the download process. But I figured I'd give it a try and at least I have the box as a backup.

I'm installing the software on a HP mobile workstation, and in order to make room I had to completely uninstall Inv 2010 including AutoCAD 2010. On the first attempt to download, the files were corrupt. The second attempt I downloaded all three sections simultaneously using download manger directly to an external hard drive. Everything extracted properly, and I installed INV 2011 today.

I don't have internet access on my notebook at work, so I waited until I got home to activate. The product serial number I was e-mailed is invalid, and the group number doesn't work either. The request code is also invalid.

I never had this trouble with upgrades using boxed software before. Is the reason I can't activate the downloaded software because I requested the boxed version? This is really frustrating.
