Download Error?

Hello,

I'm trying to downlad Product Design Suite Premium English 2013 Win 64.

The website says its about 14 Gb but the download is actually 32 Gb. Which is a little odd. The main problem is that it downloads for a few hours and then comes up with:

"Error 0x250000ff"

The download stops and then when i restart it, it starts from scratch again.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hello Chesterr,

Were you able to try the suggested alternative above which is utilize the Browser Download delivery method as apposed to Install Now or Download Now?

If downloading as a trial where you don't have the option, I'd suggest utilizing Matt, our Virtual Assistant, whom hosts most current + previous supported version Browser Download links.

From Matt: Download and Installation -> Software Download Links -> I need to redownload my product

Hi dmscheid,

The alternative we have available at the moment is to download your program from Matt, our Virtual Agent (this method is the same as Browser Download, which will enable you to have all necessary files to deploy the software in multiple machines. Disabling your firewall during the download is also a good way to make sure it's not interrupted at any point.

Please, click here and select the option Downloading and Installation -> Software Download Links -> I Need to Redownload my Product; then simply choose the program and version that you wish to download.

Best regarsd,

Hi Yasser,

Have you tried the steps here as provided by TravisNave on the first part of this thread? Alternatively, you can also use the Browser Download method and you can download the Product from Matt, Our Virtual Agent

Hi Ghalia and welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Have you tried downloading from a different web browser?

This error can also be resolved by downloading from a different location, try our Virtual Agent for a fresh download link.

Please also be sure to temporarily disable your antivirus software or firewalls.

Running your computer as the Administrator is also helpful.

Changing your download method could also do the trick.

Please let me know if these steps resolve the error. If the problem persists, please respond to this post with further details.

Thank you!

I am having issues as well. I've been trying to download Inventor 2015 through the Autodesk Download Manager with no avail. I have downloaded Revit and Mechanical 2015 using the same program and only have issues with Inventor. I have tried the downloads on three different machines, with a minimum of i5, 8GB of RAM, and sufficient storage. Every time I get the 0x250000ff error, regardless of what machine. I have disabled my anti-virus (eset or AVG, depending on the computer), rebooted, used the straight line in from our ISP, etc. I have also tried the browser download option, but similar to last year, it requires mulitple files (a la Autodesk_Inventor..._001_002.sfx.exe), and the browser download only gives me the first file. I also have tried multiple browsers. Any more insight?

Thanks, Jessica.

For the record, this did work, for anyone else who has this issue too. Just be patient on the Virtual Agent as it takes a moment to respond, but did quite well.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem when I try to "Download Now" the free version of AutoCad 2014. It appears the "error 0x250000ff"

Then I tryed to "Install Now" but it also makes an error. After accepting the agreement and oppening the download file this happens:

What can I do?

Hi @madalena.vidigal and welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Please try this these steps to help resolve your download error:

  • In the preferences or options area of your preferred browser, remove pop-up blockers and allow access to all *autodesk.com sites.
  • In the preferences or options area of your preferred browser, delete cookies, temporary internet files, and history.
  • Turn off your personal firewall or VPN, if you use one.
  • Disable UAC
  • Close and reopen your preferred browser.
  • Re-download your software from the Virtual Agent

If the problem persists please respond to this post with further details or please "Accept as a Solution" if this post resolves your issue so that others with this same question can more easily find an answer. Thank you!

Hi there, I'm having difficulty installing Building Design Suite premium 2015. After turning off the antivirus and firewall, I re-downloaded the files but when I try to open them, I still get the file corrupted error. Any other way other than turning off the antivirus & firewall to get the download right? Thanks!

Hello @HarveyYim6597!

Have you tried using an alternate download method, specifically the Browser Download option? Please let me know if that doesn't work for you and/or if anything else comes up!

Clicking the link on the email sent to me opens  up google chrome. This is how I downloaded the files. Is this the same thing as the browser download?

I'm Downloading it now from the subscription Center. Hopefully this works.
