Does vault 2010 work with Inventor 2011

Hello, I am the new user with Autodesk Inventor and vault.

My boss upgraded the Inventor to 2011 and our vault is 2010 version.

Does the vault 2010 work with Inventor 2011?

Or the company has to upgrade the vault to 2011 version?

Inventor 2011 is not backwards compatible with Vault 2010. Inventor 2011 is currently only supported with Vault 2011.

We have Inventor 2010 Suite with Vault 2010 on our stand-alone client machines and Inventor 2011 Suite and Vault 2010 Server ADMS on our server.

We have been told that the Vault 2010 clients (with our Inventor 2010 and Mechanical 2010) will work collaborating with the 2001 Vault server ADMS system, but we are having some issues getting it all to run happily.

Are there any specific updates we need to get things in harmony and working?
