Discounted Licences for Animation schools?

I am currently working on a business plan for a small animation school 
and need to price up 6-10 licenses for Maya for private tuition. None of
the work produced will be sold for profit.

It appears that Autodesk no longer provide PLE versions of Maya, but are there any 
other discounted (or free?!?) licenses used solely to train and educate?

£18-30k is a lot of money and it's stretching the finances a little too much at the moment. The animation traiing will require no fancy bells and whistles, so earlier versions of Maya (back when they had PLE version) would even work fine for what I need, but I guess Autodesk has removed those, right?
