Deployment of Revit Structure 2013

Hello, I have to deploy several Autodesk products and currently I try to deploy the above mentioned program Revit Structure 2013. The logfile is attached. OS is XP SP 3 fully patched. I tried to install the DirectX version in the 3rdparty folder but there was no different. If I use the link for installation the installation is working. I rebuild this link in my deployment system but it failed. The deployment version was created on a windows 7 64-bit os.

Can you try to re-create the deployment using Windows XP and then install it on XP?   Also, are you able to directly install the software on the target computer?

Thanks for your response. I re-created the deployment image on a windows xp virtual machine but the error during installing is the same.

Using the created shortcut in the admiimage folder for installation works. (runas)

And now I installed it using a computer account instead of a service one and it works. And I still don't understand why.

Strange indeed.  Just an FYI, Windows 7 x64 is a worthwhile upgrade if possible.  Here are some notes about 32 bit vs 64 bit:

Some notes about Windows 8 is here:

I don't see the log file attached so this is just an educated guess. Make sure your service or system account has full access to “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk".

Thanks,

Danny
