Deploying AutoCad 2008 though GPO, users receive d3dx9_30.dll error, DirectX 9

After deploying AutoCad 2008 through Group Policy, users are receiving this error message when they open AutoCad:

"acad.exe - Unable to Locate Component"
"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_30.dll was not found."

After some research I found that this dll is apart of Microsoft's DirectX 9.

The user's do not have the d3dx9_30.dll in their system32 folder.

After manually installing DirectX on my machine (AutoCad 08 is not installed) I have the d3dx9_30.dll in my system32 folder.

Has anyone had any experiencing with resolving this error message?

Does anyone know if there is an msi available for DirectX 9?

Has anyone been able to successfully deploy AutoCad 2008 through Group Policy without the above mentioned error message?

Thanks in Advance

You should install DirectX 9.0c.

Start > Run > dxdiag

... will tell you what version of DirectX you are currently running.

Directx9c is not one installation. Microsoft updates it every other month
with new dll's that the software developers use. So even if you have
Directx9c installed you don't have all the files that belong to it at the
moment.

AutoCAd installation setup updates your Directx9c installation.

If you make a deployment and use GPo to install AutoCAD, these files are
missing.

My solution was to make a .msi file that includes these files (d3dx9_30.dll)
and deploy it with GPO.

My opinion is that Autodesk installation deployment is missing an important
part and Microsoft should give us a way to install Directx with .msi and
GPO.

I had also an issue when the second user tried to start 2008 and it gave an
error message that the user must have Administrator privileges to use the
program!
