Deleting a Pirated SLM License

Hi to all
Recently we sold a customer legal licenses of AutoCAD 2008
However before this purchase, the customer used pirated licenses
After uninstalling & reinstalling AutoCAD 2008 the pirated licenses are still being detected.i.e. AutoCAD works normally.
The problem is that when I sent the request codes to Autodesk for activation codes I received a e-mail reply saying all request codes were invalid.
How do I remove this pirated license permanently
Thanks 2 all for your support
neil

Hi,

not that I know anything about pirated licenses but after you uninstalled AutoCAD, did you do the following?

1. Remove C:\Program files\Common\Autodesk Shared?
2. Remove all and each reference to Autodesk from Registry?
3. Reboot and re-reboot the PC?
4. IF you know the hacker/s, did you search for their references in registry/in Program-files? Example: xForce...

Cheers,
Petri

To continue:

as the license is derived from info in the MBR, you may be in a situation where yoy'll have to do a low level format... Even this sometimes doesn't help... Sorry (or not depending on if you can write invoice on hours spent...)
