I am having real problems with one of our licences contantly requesting to be re-authorized. It is happening about 1-2 times a week despite there having been no new hardware or software added to the machine. Due to the time it takes to get a code through from Autodesk as the online authorization option never works this is resulting in a very costly amount of down time. Anybody come across this happening to them and have a solution?
Need a little more info. Like are these standalone seats or network seats?
If they are network seats and this is coming from your license manager then
the machine that your license manager is on probably has a dynamic IP
address. It should have a static IP address. Do not let your license
manager use DHCP and assign it a static IP address that will not conflict
with the address that your DHCP server dishes out for the dynamic addresses.

It is a Stand-alone autocad 2002 licence. there seems to be no pattern to when the re-authorization requests occur appart from that it allways happens as I launch the program not while using it. However it does occur at any time as I may have on ocasions been using the software for several hours, before closing it down for 5 mins and when I try to start up it fails. the last few request codes that I have used if they are any use are: (edited out)and the serial No. is: (edited)
