Hi, we purchased a new copy of AutoCAD Lt 2011. While the disk drive on either of our laptops seems to be able to read the disk that the software came on, the desktop computer that we want to install it on thinks the disk is blank.
It is a Dell Optiplex 170L, and has been upgrader to 2GB of memory to run the software. The CD Drive is able to read any other disk that we put in the drive, just not the AutoCAD one. Therefore it is doubtful it is the drive.
Any ideas?

Thank you that would explain it I am sure the "old" desktop doesn't have a DVD player, it is only a CD-R/W. The newer computers have the combined drive.
