Completely Remove Maya OSX

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to remove Maya 2012 completely from an OSX machine running Snow Leopard 10.6.7

My reason for wanting to do this is because the wrong product code was entered on installation and is now causing problems with activation.

I am follwing the instructions in the installation and licensing guide however when I try and run the adlmreg command to remove the entries from the productinformation.pit file I get the error 'pit file remove failed. Reasons 12'

I am then unable to install maya with the correct product key.

Can anyone shed any light on this error or tell me where the .pit file is located so that I can remove it completely.

Thanks

Ben

Hi bkitching;

   You should be able to find the PIT file in the /Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Adlm/PIT folder. Please be aware of any modifications to that file will force a re-install of Autodesk products
