We are looking at sharing job / project drawing files in a Clusted Server environment. The goal is to have two identically mapped drives with identicall drive letters in two offices that behave as a single resource. All users would work at Local Network Speeds.

Has anyone done this?

Other Questions:

Does AutoCAD standard file locking mechanism work in this environment?

How bout the impacts of Wide Area Network Latency?

how about other Autodesk software... NavisWorks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP?
