Cloned partition with 3DS max 2012 - can I expect issues with activation?

I've cloned my Windows 7 partition with 3DS Max 2012 to a SSD disk. I want to work with this SSD disk from now on, and not use the old disk again.

I suspect I will  have activation issues so I didn't try to start 3DS yet. What should I do?Do I have to deactivate 3DS first when started from my old disk?

I suspect that your activation will break.  But you should be able to reactivate without any issue.  If not, just call Autodesk Activations and get a new activation code.  1-800-551-1490 >1 >1.
