Hi
At work, a year ago, i installed a Server Licences and it work fine with 2011.
It's a Educational Licence for 10 users.
The version of lmgrd:
License server status: 27000@MAFS
License file(s) on MAFS: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Autodesk Network License Manager\ARPAV VENETO_21122011.lic:
MAFS: license server UP (MASTER) v11.9
So now, I downloaded the Civil 2012 3D and installed in 3 different PC when I try to start the client the reply is always the same:
Error -5.412.0]
I have a license obtained from Autodesk Support Service that support 2012 EMS.
this is the log of CIVIL 3D Client.

True indeed. You need a new updated license file for 2012 as it will not work with your 2011 licenses. Also, educational licenses tend to expire after 13 months. -5 simply means that this product does not exist on your license server.

Yes it's new file license file: italian assistance send me a license file from activation.autodesk.com for two time.
The last one at 12/19/2011: i reinstalled the license manager built into Civil 3D 2012 so now I have the 11.9 version of lmgrd and with the last license file given from italian reseller.
At this point, for Autodesk 2011 and Civil 3D 2011, the new license file, with lmgrd 11.9, works fine and all client can receive the license.
The italian support system thinks that is a wrong installation of license manager. They cannot resolve my problem from remote.
How can i debug if the License Manager is right?
Are there some minimal requirement for Autodesk Education Master Suite 2012, for example lmgrd version or adskflex version??

Version 11.9 will work just fine. The NLM is backwards compatible so you shouldn't have any problems there. You could upgrade to 11.10 if you really want to.
You might have corrupted CascadeInfo.cas files.
For more detailed information about the CascadeInfo.cas file, please refer to the Autodesk Support Knowledge Base article found here:

I will look for in the other Pc where I tried to install 2012 CIVIL 3 D.

Please try this patch for Civil 3D 2012. Cascading issue could be fixed with this.
