I posted this in the civil3d group as well, but, got no responses so I'm
wondering if someone here may be able to shed some light on the subject.
Has anyone else experienced the following error with Civil 3D when accessing
project information stored on a network drive/volume?
"A system error occured while trying to monitor the project file
\\Puwd\ENG1\Design\1\C3DProjects\5678.
The system error is: Incorrect function.
Project 5678 will not be monitored for changes."
Everything seems to operate normally as far as saving changes, edits, etc.
This dialog just appears whenever accessing project information from the
network server. BTW, we use (or are stuck with) Novell Netware and I have
my suspicions that the NOS may be the primary culprit causing the situation.
Any ideas and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
