Installation & Licensing

Just created standard 64 bit deployment Civil 3D 2013. Install installing

on a Dell M6500 16 GB RAM. Why has it taken over 80 minutes to install.

Any help appreciated.

Yeah, that's about right.  You got lucky.  I've seen it go 8 hours.  No exaggeration. 

Things you can do to shorten the time:

- Install locally from HDD vs media or network deploy

- Disable UAC and real-time antivirus

- Make sure all the prerequisite installations are already up-to-date
