Does anyone know how Acad 14.1 works under a Citrux
environment? I may have to switch to that and am
not sure how it will perform.

Citrix Winframe/Metaframe environments are not supported platforms for
AutoCAD.

To add-on to Simon's statement:

We run Citrix here for most of our apps except for AutoCAD. Out Network
Admin wanted to put AutoCAD on Citrix. He was told by several different
Citrix guys from a couple of seminars that he attended, that Citrix is
really not any good at running graphic intensive programs. We never tried
it. We stopped after hearing this from the Citrix pros.

Are there any remote solutions for running AutoDesk Products?

Does this include Microstation?

One of the first hurdles, is that the Citrix platform currently only
supports 256 color display, and max 800x600 screen resolution... hardly
suitable for an AutoCAD environment. We run accounting software, time
sheets, and about to roll-out digital asset management on Citrix. The
problem with "digital asset management" is that thumbnail-image-previews
look crappy because of the color depth restriction on Citrix. Like most
software manufacturers these days, they're not forthcoming with info on
forthcoming software updates & releases.

I thought that there was something that ran across the internet.

I would assume so.

The current word from Autodesk is that we do not support any form of remote
display of any of our current products. We are aware that customers are
interested in this technology and we are evaluating the possibilities.
