We recently purchased 10 HP Z400 workstations with Nvidia Quadro 2000 cards. THe first four I deployed work fine. Since then I have installed 4 more and Revit 2011 and 2012 both at startup display the message that "Hardware Acceleration has been disbled. Software emulation mode is in use. REvit detects an unsupported video card and driver." If you go into option you cannot manually select hardware acceleration.Interestingly enough AutoCAD does recognize the card. I am using the Autodesk recommended driver. I have tried the following to no avail:
1. Uninstalled and re-installed the card and driver.
2. Tried the newest driver.
3. Updated the video card xml to the latest.
4. Installed to a new PC only Windows, card and driver, and Revit.
I have a case open with Autodesk but they have no fix so far, after three days.
Also is it possible that Revit will still run okay on a card it does not recognize?
