I'm trying to use PSEXEC to remotely uninstall Design Review 2011.
Here is the command I am issuing:
C:\PSTools> PSEXEC \\COMPUTERNAME msiexec /x {8D20B4D7-3422-4099-9332-39F27E617A6F} /qb! /Passive /l*v "C:\DesignReview_Uninstall.log"
I get this error:
msiexec exited on CP188 with error code 1603.
After looking through the log, I find this:
APPCOMPAT: no matching ProductCode found in database.
Then this - at the end of the document:
MSI (s) (AC:08) [14:12:17:821]: Windows Installer removed the product. Product Name: Autodesk Design Review 2011. Product Version: 11.0.0.86. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Autodesk, Inc.. Removal success or error status: 1603.
This is the GUID that I retrieved from the registry:
{8D20B4D7-3422-4099-9332-39F27E617A6F}
After some research on the net, I may not be able to remotely uninstall this software becuase it was installed under a single user and not ALL USERS. I have even tried the ALL USERS = 2 parameter with msiexec
I'm not sure what is going on here.
Has anyone ever remotely uninstall Design Review 2011?
