I think the problem lies around here (pasted below) in the log.

Anyone has any idea why?

I have tried reinstalling it three times, same problem all the time.

Some kind of error happens during registering a dll.

I have also tried uninstalling Revit 2011 which I had installed and everything that uses autodesk shared libs, basically removed everything autodesk.

Please help!

In Windows Explorer navigate to the folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Structural\COM\2013\DBAccess" select the file "RBCTMdbEditX.dll", right click and choose Rename. After renaming the file run setup for Revit 2013 again.

What should I rename it to? anything?

Anyway I'll try rename it to RBCTMdbEditX.dll.bak and see what happens.

Unfortunately that didn't work...

still the same problem.

Is there any way that I can bypass the registration of this dll and manually register it at a later time?

Same problem here with Revit MEP 2013. Error 1722, action win64RegisterRBCTMdbEditX.742DD471_03BC_4C75_8992_518E2BDABD1C

Revit is installed, but It fail to start. I see the splash screen, then boom.

Lost one day with this. And this stupid installer detect that Revit MEP 2013 is installed, so I need to delete it, I'm not able to desinstall it with the control panel.

I've deleted the whole directory (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Structural\COM\2013\DBAcces), relaunch the installed and It worked. 10 hours for installing a single program... I had to write a special program in order to remove some keys created in the registry by Revit...

i tired but not working for me. I had this problem twice, both solved by reinstalling windows then install revit right away before anything else...
