Can't navigate to Today window

I have a network installation of A2002 that finds the custom "Today Window" fine. Then I made an MDT6 network image as a sub directory of the first A2002 share point (Image). I pointed the Today window manager to the same file as I did with A2002. The MDT6 clients get an error "Failure to navigate to Today Window".

Hi Raymond,

If you check the registry on a client machine, does the relevant registry key also show the correct Bulletin Board location?

I can check for the correct registry key location at this end if you cannot find it.

Mark,

That was it, The registry points to D:\ instead of \\servername..., . How can I get the "Image" corrected so I don't have to edit ea clients registry? The lmtools don't seem to matter on the MDT image, yet the Autocad image works fine.

Thanks

Hi Raymond,

Edit the following file to correct your image:
\\server\Autocad\image\Support\CMC.DAT

It has the following settings that are applied to each client:

Today_CMCUrl=\\server\autocad\whatever.htm
Today_CMCLocalPath=
Today_CMCGroups=[UNASSIGNED]
Today_CMCtrl=0
Today_CMCIntServ=0
Today_CMCLiveUpd=1

You should find the same registry keys on the client.

Chris
