Can't make license server add the license file

I am trying to install the licensing on a new server, which has 3 other vendors' licensing showing in lmtools. The install goes well, but it never asks me for the license file. It ends successfully, but when I open lmtools Autodesk licensing is not there. When I go to proxy server monitoring it still shows the old license server.

Hi,

During the install process, you don't have to specify he license file.
You have to ask Autodesk for that file and configure manually Lmtools to use
use services and your license file.

You will find a Technical Solution with step by step instructions that Frank described here:

http://support.autodesk.com/getdoc.asp?id=TS64756

As you are running license servers from multiple software vendors you will also want to manage the TCP/IP port that the Master Daemon is using for each license service. You will find information and instructions for this in this Technical Solution:

You will want to make sure that you are running the latest license manager files for all your vendor versions. You also want to run only one license manager. Place the vendor files (i.e. adskflex.exe) from all the vendors in one location. Point each of the services to the same lmgrd.exe file and start them all invididually. Also make sure they each have separate debug.log files. This should work.
I was able to get a single license manager to run Autodesk, Solidworks, and VMWare licenses all at the same time. The biggest mistake in setting this up for multiple vendors is running multiple and different versions of lmgrd.exe. This is where most of the setups fail.
If you run into any problems, post them here.
