Followed instructions carefully, still no luck.
Ends up with licence error when starting up the program.

Any advice?

Please give details! What OS? How is the deployment configured? Did you
create it with the wizard? What exactly was the error? Are you installing
standalone, or network license?

Ups, sorry..

- OS: XP/2000 SRV with AD
- Network licence, flexlm 8.3 (latest, came with adt2004)
- Deployment: group policy installation, deployment image created with
wizard and the policy just as in the instructions.
- Error is pretty much the same as in the previous thread:
Licence mangement system error, restart licence mangement system, contact
admin if persists
(Error 7.1.29 ?)

There's no error in AD/group policies, other apps install just fine.
The funny thing is that that deployment is done exactlty as instructed, but
it still fails.
If installed manually (by clicking the shortcut) install is ok.

This is important feature since it allows central management/patching of the
program.

You have created a deployment that has installed a standalone license.
There's nothing wrong with that; it's another feature of deployments, but
maybe not what you're expecting.

This installation requires that the user have admin rights on the local PC
when installing. If not, you would get that error.

- Yes, yes ...
I'm pretty sure I got that right, but have to check again.

Thanks.
