I am a registered Autodesk student community user and have successfully downloaded AutoCAD before (through the old downloading tool). Now when I try to download through the student community free downloads page, I get a long, thin white bar with a [CLOSE] button and nothing else. Nothing seems to start automatically downloading either. What's wrong?

> Guys try here - > http://studentsmaintenance.autodesk.com it works. Link doesn't work, just copy it into your browser.
That works. 3 browsers, 2 computers, and 1.5 hrs later, all that was needed was this link. Even then, the download manager still does not work via that system, but the browser download seems to.
I have never spent less than one hour getting a product through this education system.
I can navigate to the download page, but there is no button to download for any of the autodesk products through the student page. I have tried IE, Firefox, and Chrome, but nothing works. How do I get the download button to show up?
Hi Everyone,
We are already aware of the absence of the Download button in the Education Community site and we are currently working on the resolution. Once resolved, we will keep everyone posted.
Pardon us for any inconvenience.
Hi C_dog373,
Please click here to download your 3Ds Max 2012. I have set the link to expire in 72 hours.
Alternatively, you can also visit our Student Facebook Site or Education Support Team to obtain the download links. For 2013 versions, you can use our Trial Versions page.
Please note that the Education Community download issue has been resolved! We apologize for any inconveniences this problem may have caused and please feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions, concerns, or issues.
Hi George,
What download method were you using (Install Now, Download Now, Browser Download)? Have you tried using an alternate? Is that the complete error message or is there another portion?

I tried a few times, same results.
Hi ebottens and irina-ov,
My initial suggestion to anyone having issues downloading or installing software from the Education Community is to check that your computer meets all the minimum system requirements for that product. Trying different browsers and download methods, as ebottens has already done, is also a good option.
For those getting an error code 1603, saying that some or all programs failed to install, our Expert Elite member TravisNave put together a great post teaching how to fix the error. You can find that post here.
Can you please follow the instructions mentioned on TravisNave's post linked above and let us know if the problem persists?
Thank you!
Hello,
I have tried downloading 2012 AutoCad several times. I even tried 2013 version so I could use the DLM from AutoDesk to no avail. I get it "downloaded" to computer then it wants to download again, put in my codes & everthing seems fine. Upon " initialization " it gets several parts loaded/initialized & almost gets done loading/initializing " autocad" & then " error code 2738" pops up & starts backing out the download for both versions. I am running Vista /AMD Sempron Proc LE-1250/2.2GHz/2GB RAM.
Hi Philip,
I am trying to download the most recent version of Civil 3d (64-bit) and Revit 2013 (64-bit) and cannot view the "download" radio button on the Autodesk Student Community website. Is there anyway that you could send me links to download programs mentioned above? Also, I'm operating on a Windows 7 OS. Thank you for your time and help!
Hi,
this same error has occurred for me to download the Standard AutoCAD 2013 64-bit O.S, as there is not a download button to do so. Please can you help me to resolve this situation.
My apologies for the inconvenience everyone.
Confirming that the missing download buttons have been restored and you can now again enjoy your full Education Community benefits.
Thank you very much for your patience and please let us know if any additional questions, concerns or issues arise.
