Can't Install Maya 2012.. Set up Claims that my System is too New??

Is there a quick product update  for Maya for Mac Users?? I cant Install it since the installation set up says that my System is too new...

i'm having the exact same problem, cant install due to the system being 'too new'. does the service Pack 1 work ?

"Maya 2012 will now run but it's not supported!" 
Does this means that there are no software updates for this version anymore?

Autodesk 2012 software is retired.  There are no more updates for the software.
