Situation:
Created 2 deployment locations for LDD2. One location has three folders for
deployment locations (base, civil, survey) installing on the c drive of the
local machine. I'm created another 3 folders for deployment locations
(base-d, civil-d, survey-d) that installs the program on the d drive of the
local machine because some of them don't have enough room on the c drive.
The c installations install without a hitch. The base install for the d
drive installs without a hitch. However the civil and survey add-ons quite
during the installation saying there is no enough space to install. On one
machine there is 1.6GB on the other about 1.3GB. I was hoping for a shot in
the dark about some ideas about what might be happening.
Tried this on 3 machines:
PII 333 MHz
Win95
64 MB RAM

The sript in the installation program is looking for a default drive. get a
patch for the company to give you a choice.

Matt,
Although you have specified drive d:, the product still installs shared
files to drive c: in the C:\program files\common files\autodesk shared
directory. You may not have enough room on C: to install the common files.
How much space is available on drive c:?
