Just installed Mudbox 2011 32 bit version on my new laptop (Windows 7)
and for some reason it won't open at all.
The program starts running, for about a minute or so, and then I just get the dreaded:
Mudbox.exe application error: The instruction at 0x67053228 referenced memory at 0x00000010. The memory could not be written.
Please help me fix this!
Hi Adleder;
Are you still having troubles with this issue? Have you tried running the windows updates to see if there's anything on the system that can be updated? I would check to confirm that it's updated fully, check to see if there's any video driver updates and try again
Dwayne
Yes I updated everything and it worked.
However, the key that I purchased from a self-proclaimed partnered retailer was invalid. I reported the seller, returned the product, and uninstalled everything.
I'm dissapointed, to say the least, as it is very difficult to find a reasonably priced copy of Mudbox these days.
I just don't have $500-600 to spend on a program right now 😞
Sorry you had to return the application. You might try one of the resellers on the list below they might be able to help

Let me know if you need anything else

Same problem...I just bought a DELL PRECISION 6600M with an NVIDIA 3000M. I click on the icon, after successfully installing everything, the software and my wacom Intuos 4...
I can see the Mudbox process run up to 10GB of processing (task bar), however nothing else happens. I tried repairing, uninstalling followed by a clean install still nothing...
Talk about frustration . Does anyone have an idea here? Please?
Kind Regards,
Ori
Hi Originor2382
Couple things I would check/try to fix this.
- update the graphics driver to the latest or qualified driver.
- update the wacom tablet drivers or uninstall them entirely to see if it's effecting. I've seen old drivers cause many issues with new 3d app
