Autodesk Moldflow Adviser 2010 and FlexLM

I used to have the Moldflow Plastics Adviser as a node-locked add-in on my
standalone Inventor installation (prior to the 2010 Suite).

Now that Autodesk has bought Moldflow the new AMA product (Autodesk Moldflow
Adviser 2010) comes with a floating network license (1 user).

I installed this product to my PC and merged the license file on the server
with my Inventor network license file and re-read the FlexLM Service and the
AMA feature was read fine.

However it seems like it requires another service than the FlexLm Service -
namely the Autodesk License Manager (Moldflow) service, but my license file
is read using the FlexLM Service...and Moldflow won't start on my PC because
of this...

What can I do?

I think you need to add a separate service that uses a separate license file and uses the moldflow vendor daemon.

But they use the same LMTOOLS / Lmgrd.exe ... can
it co-exist on the same server?

I tried installing Moldflow with my own PC as
Client/Server but it conflicted with the server LMtools.

In Lmtools you create a new service in Config Services.
If I remember it right you can use the same lmgrd.exe. If that should not work you can create a new folder and place a copy of lmgrd.exe as well as the moldflow exe and the license file.
I took for granted that you have a moldflow exe just like adskflex.exe.

I don't see the 'Create Service':

You just enter a new name on the service in the "Service Name" dropdown and then specify the paths and click on Save Service.
