Autodesk Licensing Manager

Hi,

I recently came to know that Autodesk Simulation CFD now comes with Autodesk Flex License Manager, where one can use multiple sessions with a single license (e.g. can use the solver, while also opening two other sessions for pre/post-processing. I also heard that there are no additional licenses required for HPC usage.

Can you please provide some more information on the above?

Hi VD1.. yes, we are using ADLM, which is a flavor of flexlm.

The CFD licensing for the UI and solver are independent. So, they are licensed separately. This allows flexibility to have the UI being used to setup and view results, while solving on the same (or different) machine. Each license allows for one instance of each to be run at the same time.
